Hey Everybody!

D and I are back from New York. We had a great time, but are very happy to be home. We’ll have a little bit of downtime before we both get back into action, preparing for next season.

I wanted to thank you guys for voting me as the winner of the “Most Dramatic Moment” award at the NEXTEL Cup Series banquet. That was pretty cool, and I appreciated getting that award.

I also want to give you all a heads-up that we are now accepting orders for the 2008 Kevin Harvick Fan Club! Click here to place your order. Please note that fan club kits will not ship until early next year…

And while you’re there, don’t forget that the eSHOP has a huge sale going on! You can score autographed diecasts for as low as $25! Become a hero to that race fan on your holiday list!

Have a great week,

Kevin

Hello From Florida!

DeLana and I are still down in Florida getting ready for tonight’s Truck Series Banquet. We can’t wait to celebrate this awesome achievement with Ron Hornaday and the No. 33 crew. We have worked hard for the past six years tweaking KHI’s truck program, getting the right people in the right places and looking for that certain something that makes it all click. It happened this year, and we simply cannot be more proud.

I was fortunate that I got to drive in the truck race on Friday, so I was able to focus a lot of my “nervous energy” on my racetruck. D on the other hand, was about as nervous as any of us have ever seen her. Sitting in the pits knowing that it was completely out of her hands at that point, it was tough. She handled herself very well, though, and the Championship celebration made everything worth it. We had so much fun, and it capped off a fantastic season in the best way we can imagine.

Looking back at my Busch Series and Cup Series season, I have so much that I am proud of. From kicking off the year with a Daytona sweep, to watching our two KHI Busch Series car battle right down to the final yards and capture a 1-2 finish in the Talladega race in April, to my wins in the No. 21 car and my All Star win…there has been so much that made this a sweet season on all fronts. Could some things have gone better for us? Of course, but that’s racing and I feel like the good truly outweighed the bad this year.

I’d like to thank all of my teams - both at KHI and RCR - for all of their hard work, long hours and dedication. Being surrounded by so many great people makes my job a lot easier and I appreciate all of their efforts.

Last but certainly not least, D and I would like to extend a huge Thank You to you guys - our awesome fans. Your support really keeps us going, gets us through the hard times and means a lot.

I hope you all have a wonderful Thanksgiving!

Belated Veterans Day Wishes…

I wanted to acknowledge Veterans Day and to offer my sincere gratitude, appreciation and thanks to all of the brave men and women who have served - and continue to serve - our country. The fact that I woke up this morning with freedoms few other countries get to enjoy is a tribute to the United States military.

To the families of those veterans who gave the ultimate sacrifice, you are in our thoughts and prayers as we take this day to remember those we have lost, to salute those still fighting and to thank each and every soldier that has served our great nation.

Enjoy your week,

Kevin

Hey Everybody!

Hey Everybody,

Even though I’m testing today in Atlanta, I just wanted to drop by and say a quick hello before DeLana and I head out to California.

I’m pretty pumped up about this trip. I always like visiting my “home” state and grabbing a bite at my favorite restaurant out there. It’s also nice to see friends and family that I don’t get to see very often because of my schedule, and the fans in Cali just can’t be beat!

If you guys have some free time on Thursday afternoon, stop by the Camping World store at 6801 Colony Drive in Bakersfield, CA between 1:10 and 3:00 pm. I’ll be making an appearance there and signing autographs for the first 300 people in line.

Then it’s off to a fundraiser at Buck Owens’ Crystal Palace. It will benefit the Kern County High School Racing Series, which is pretty cool. It gives the high school students the opportunity to learn about and participate in the racing industry.

I’ll be behind the wheel of the No. 33 RoadLoans.com Chevy for KHI in the Busch Series race on Saturday, then we’ll take another stab at winning the Cup race on Sunday in the No. 29 Shell-Pennzoil ride. We came so close the last time we were there, and I think that track owes us one. Scratch that - I *know* that track owes us one.

Hi Everyone!

Just a quick note to let you guys know that DeLana and I have posted our latest diary entries, this time from the Montreal/Pocono race weekend. Click here to read it!

My Daytona Diary…

I always knew that the Daytona 500 was one of those races that we all want to win, but I guess I didn’t fully grasp the whole magnitude of it until I actually won it. It made my life a lot busier in the months that followed - some days I didn’t know if I was coming or going - but to share that win with some of racing’s biggest names is such an honor.

All of the emotions and the excitement of that win came back to me last week when I revisited the track. There have been just a handful of events in my career that meant as much to me as the Daytona 500 Champion’s Walk of Fame induction and past champions reunion. I was able to have conversations with some of the legends of our sport, and to see how much their 500 wins meant to them - some even decades later - really put things into perspective for me. It was really neat.

The whole thing really pumped me up for the races, moreso than I already was. I was all about sweeping Daytona again, and thought that - sorry, KNEW that - we had the cars to do it. While I didn’t walk away from the Busch Series race terribly disappointed, Saturday night’s Cup race will go down as probably my biggest disappointment of the season so far…

Happy Fourth of July!

Hey Everybody!

DeLana and I just wanted to wish you all a very Happy Fourth of July! We’re planning on hanging out with some family and friends, taking in some fireworks, lots of good food and enjoying the day off before heading down to Daytona. It’s hard to believe that we’re already making our second trip to Daytona this season. It is flying!

To our brave men and women in the military, on this day - as every other day - we offer our sincere gratitude for your service. We hope that no matter where your duties take you, that you remain safe and return home soon. You represent the bravest and the best of the USA, and we are proud and thankful to all of you.

We hope that you all enjoy your Independence Day!

The ESPY Awards!

Hey Everybody,

I’ve been nominated for two ESPY Awards! The ESPY Awards are held annually by ESPN, and you - the fans - get to help decide the winners!

The two categories I am in are “Best Finish” (for my Daytona 500 win) and “Best Driver.” I’m up against some serious competitors, and I am quite honored to have been chosen as a nominee.

You guys can cast your votes not only for my two categories, but for a bunch of other fun ones including “Best Game” and “Best Play.”

To vote, visit http://espn.go.com/espy2007/index.html#/vote/. The categories are listed on the right-hand side of the page. You can vote for one category, or vote for all…it’s up to you!

The ESPY Awards will be shown live on ESPN July 15 at 9:00 p.m., ET.

Have a great week,

Kevin

Prizes, Sweepstakes Everywhere!

Hey Everybody,

There is some really exciting stuff going on with Kevin Harvick Inc., and our sponsors, and I want to make sure you’re all “in the know.” Three of our Busch Series sponsors - Bounty Super Duty Shop Towels, Dollar General and RoadLoans - have some really great contests going on right now, and you guys have the chance to win anything from garage makeovers and race packages to - yep - $1 million!

Dollar General Stores are offering fans the opportunity to win (pinky on the side of the mouth) one million dollars (in my best Dr. Evil voice). One grand prize winner will receive an all-expenses paid trip to the Ford 300 & 400 Championship weekend in Miami, Florida, $10,000 in cash…and if the No. 77 Dollar General Stores Chevrolet is declared the official winner of the Ford 300, the grand prize winner scores a million bucks! 160 additional prizes are also being awarded, including Dollar General gift cards and Dollar General racing t-shirts and caps. Visit www.dollargeneral.com for details!

When you’re done with that, scoot on over to http://www.roadloans.com/rl_site_resources/roadloans/RoadLoans_Racing/sweepstakes.htm and register for your chance to win a Fantasy Race Weekend prize pack for Bristol on August 24! The package includes airfare, hotel accommodations and $750 in spending money! While you’re there, you’ll get to meet me, hang out with the No. 33 RoadLoans.com racing team and get some autographed racing gear. Even better, if I win the race…you win $33,000! You know how much I like racing at Bristol, and I’m no stranger to victory lane there…so your chances of winning are pretty good! There are also weekly prizes being handed out.

Last but not least, visit http://www.quickerpickerupper.com/garage/index.shtml and register for your chance to win a prize pack that includes a custom-designed Kevin Harvick Bounty Super Duty toolbox, $12,000 worth of Snap-On tools and a case of Bounty Super Duty Shop Towels! You can also sign up for their monthly prize giveways that include autographed raced gloves and visors (worn and signed by yours truly…comes with a Certificate of Authenticity) and garage-car cleaning kits!

Good luck to all of you! I’d love to see one of my “friends” walk away with a sweet prize!!

On another note, we are still accepting donations for “Operation Wax Smoke.” Visit the Charity Events section in Happy’s eSHOP at www.kevinharvick.com to make your donation. Once we reach $100,000…Tony Stewart will get waxed from the waist up (chest and back), then he’ll toss in $100,000 to shave my head. We’re just about to $30,000…so we’ve got a ways to go, but I know we’ll get there with your help!

I hope you’ve all been enjoying your summer! It’s HOT here in NC!

Take care,

Kevin

Hey Everybody!

I enjoy traveling, and that’s a good thing with the job that I have, but it’s also nice to stay home when we can. With the races being in Charlotte the next couple of weeks, it’s like an extended home stay for D and I. We’re both still getting used to our new house and, yes, putting some finishing touches on it still, so it’s been nice.

This weekend is gearing up to be a good time. I love racing in the trucks, and doing it under the lights at Lowe’s Motor Speedway will be even better! I’m looking forward to giving Hornaday, and all those other drivers out there, a run for the money!

Speaking of money, I’m also looking forward to Saturday’s All-Star race. We always have a good time in that event, but we are long overdue for winning that thing!

I’ll cap my weekend off with a trip to Iowa, for Sunday’s Grand National East-West race at Iowa Speedway. I’ve been checking out the messageboard on my website, and I see a lot of you guys talking about being there. I hope we put on a good show and you have a great time!

Talk to you soon,

Kevin
