Well…here we are at the finish line!! Last week…last chance to make your moves…I hope you have saved some good starts for this weekend. This is why I love Pay the Fan fantasy auto racing. We got a bunch of players not only vying for first prize, but shuffling for the rest of the spots as well. Good luck to all of you.
In the “A” group, I hope you saved a start or two for some Ford drivers this weekend, as I think this is the spot to plug in your 17, 99, or your 16 if you still have starts remaining for these guys. Fords have won 5…and that is not a typo….5 in a row here in Homestead. The Childress cars usually end the season on a strong note. So feel free to plug the 29, 31, or the 33 in there as well. The 11, 14, and 24 will be good starts if you have some of those left.
In the “B” group, keeping with the same theory that I have in the “A” group, this would be a good spot to plug in the 26, 6, and possibly the 98 could reap the points that you need. Although if you have saved some starts for the 9, 1, or the 07, this would be a good spot for those guys as well.
In the “C” group, Mr. Elliott is running this weekend so keep your eye on his times. The 44 is driving a Ford this weekend so he is a good possibility. Awesome Bill came out of here with a 12th place finish last year, and Mr. Allmendinger finished one spot ahead in 11th. Beyond those guys, I like Mr. Keselowski again. I like the 82 as well. Those guys should finish strong heading into next year.
Good luck everyone and I want to thank each and every one of you this year for making Pay the Fan your fantasy racing destination. We look forward to a bigger and better season next year, with some new games and new prizes. See you then!!

The final pit stop…Who is going to take the checkered flag? Will it be Mark n Brina from New Jersey? Will it be zig1820 from Asheboro, NC? Will it be The Captain from Lake Tahoe? Or is someone waiting outside of the top 3 just waiting for this weekend in order to make their move? Isn’t fantasy auto racing great? There is any number of people who still have a chance at winning or moving up into the big money. Good luck…
In the first group this weekend, I am leaning toward the Childress cars and possibly a Ford driver this weekend. The 29 and 33 both ended up with top 5 finishes here last season, and the 31 is a threat for a top ten everywhere he goes. The 99 will probably be in one of my starting spots. If you have Kenseth or Biffle with starts left you can start those guys with few worries.
In the second group, I love the 1, 07 and the 9 here. All three of those drivers finished up with a top ten here last year, and I look for a repeat performance. The 26 and the 6 are possibilities. I am going to watch Mr. Gilliland and study his times here this weekend. He is a dark horse possibility.
In the last group, I like the 44, 47, and the 20. I know there are few of you who still have starts for those guys, so beyond that, I am leaning toward Bill Elliott, the 78, and possibly Mr. Eric Darnell. He is in the Hall of Fame Ford this weekend, and should be one to watch.
Well that’s it for this season ladies and gentlemen. We really do appreciate your participation and helping to make Pay the Fan the number one fantasy sports website out there. It has been an exciting season and I look forward to seeing you all back here again for Daytona in 2010. Once again, good luck everyone, keep the hammer down, and I will see you at the track!!
