What is the Infield Parking Facebook App?
General
Infield Parking is a web and mobile application that allows users to upload and share their original videos, photos, and music. Users program their own channel and share with their friends, strangers, and the world.
Do I need to download any software?
Infield Parking is web-based with no additional software to download. We will have optional software tools in the future that integrate with video and photo applications and/or search your hard drive for photos, video and music and allow for easy upload.
Registering
I registered, but I never got an activation email. How do I activate?
Submit the resend activation form and we'll send you a fresh activation email. If the problem persists contact problems[at]infieldparking[dot]com
Creating Friends
How do I add someone to My Friends?
While on any 'content' page or a user's channel, select Follow This User.
Yes. In My Account / Preferences you can set the Follower Privacy so that anyone can follow you or only people you approve. Each time someone chooses to follow you, you will get a notification message in your inbox.
Can I delete a follower/friend?
Yes. You can block a user from following you by selecting the block link under the users image in the Friends / Users Who Follow Me tab. You can also go directly to the Block tab in My Account and manage the users you wish to block from there.
How can I share content privately?
First, you invite your friends and family onto Infield Parking. Once they have registered, you need to 'add them to your network'. Next, when you upload your photo, video, audio or text item, under the 'Share With' option, click 'My Network' - this will make the content only available to people in your network.
My Parking Space
Can I control who can view My Parking Space?
Yes. In the My Account settings there is a Parking Space Privacy option that allows you to set your parking space so only your followers can view it.
Can I control what content shows on the main page of My Parking Space?
Yes. In the My Account settings there are options to turn on/off your blog, pit, media gallery, forum activity, friends module, your wall and the online status indicator (shows if your online).
The Infield Parking Newsfeed is a new feature that tracks the activities of all of the people you follow on the site. The Newsfeed will show forum posts, media uploads, blog posts, events and status updates. With the Newsfeed it is easy to track all of your friends activity. It also includes comment and "like" features, so you can easily respond to your friends.
Here are some quick tips on using the Newsfeed:
— Your activity is also shown on your Parking Space wall, so that visitors to your page can see your latest activity and comment on it.
— To remove someone from your Newsfeed, you need to "Block" them in the My Account settings. We are working some finer controls for managing the people your follow.
— Newsfeed items are also posted on the home page in the "Latest Buzz" section. If you don't wish to share your content on the home page, you can set your Parking Space Privacy (in My Account) to "Only users who follow me can view my Parking Space".
— If you have a single activity that you wish to remove from your Newsfeed, then you can delete it from your Newsfeed page or Wall and it will be removed from the Home Page as well.

How do I choose a theme for My Parking Space?
In My Parking Space select the Choose Theme option. There are a number of pre-built themes that you may select for your parking space.
Can I create my own theme for My Parking Space?
Not at this time, but you are able to decorate and upload imagery and apps to your Pit.
Uploading Media
How do I upload media from my mobile phone?
Each Infield Parking users has a special email address that they can send pictures, video or text to and have it post directly to their account. There is more information about your upload email address here (http://beta.infieldparking.com/user/uploademail/mobile/). Pictures and video are posted to your media gallery, while text is posted to your blog.
Can I upload any photo, video or music file?
Infield Parking allows any original content to be uploaded as long as it contains no pornography and no gun violence or any other extreme violence. Infield Parking believes that imagery is extremely powerful and users need to be responsible for the content they upload.
What video file formats can I upload?
Infield Parking accepts video files from almost any digital camera, mobile phone, or from your computer. These include: FLV, AVI, MOV, WMV, ASF, MPG, 3GP, 3G2, and MP4.
What photo file formats can I upload?
Infield Parking currently accepts JPG, GIF, PNG, and TIFF.
What audio file formats can I upload?
Infield Parking currently supports WAV, MP3, AAC, and OGG.
What is the maximum file size I can upload?
Currently, the maximum is 100 MB per file.
How do you enforce your uploading guidelines?
Infield Parking has moderation staff that reviews each upload and post to ensure that it is within our stated guidelines. Users may assist in moderaring by 'flagging' any piece of content as bad or inappropriate. Infield Parking staff will then review the content and decided whether to pull it or keep it available to the public.
Tags or keywords are used to describe your content. Adding tags to your images allows you and your friends to search for them easier.
Editing
Can I rotate a photo to the left or right?
Yes, select the content in which you are the owner, then select the 'Edit' button. On the Edit of the page is an option for rotating images.
Can I change the thumbnail of my video?
Yes, select the content in which you are the owner, then select the 'Edit' button. On the Edit of the page, select from six different thumbnails taken from your video to choose as the default thumbnail users see when browsing your content.
Can I change my thumbnail for my audio file?
Yes, select the content in which you are the owner, then select the 'Edit' button. On the Edit of the page is an option to add a thumbnail for your audio users see when browsing your content.
Can I change privacy controls?
Yes, you control who has access to view your content. Select the content in which you are the owner, then select the 'Edit' button. On the Edit of the page, modify the 'Share With' option. You may choose between 'Everyone', available to the general public, and 'My Network', available to selected users of your choice. Facebook Connect
Facebook Connect allows Facebook users to login to Infield Parking using their Facebook ID. There is no need to create a separate account to access Infield Parking.
Besides saving me from having a separate log in, what does Facebook Connect do?
With Facebook Connect, your actions on Infield Parking can be posted to your Facebook News Feed. So, you can easily share activities on Infield Parking with your friends on Facebook. These activities include using your Infield Parking blog, posting in the forums or in groups and attending events on the Events Calendar.
If I already have an Infield Parking account can I use Facebook connect?
Yes. The sign in using Facebook link at the top of any page (when you are logged out of Infield Parking) and select the Merge your facebook profile link. This will merger your current Infield Parking account with your Facebook account. After merging them, you will use the Sign in using Facebook link to login to Infield Parking.
Can I un-merge my Facebook and Infield Parking accounts?

Can I use my Infield Parking avatar (picture) instead of my Facebook one?
Yes. In you My Account settings you can change the Show Facebook Avatar to use either your current Facebook avatar or one you upload to Infield Parking.
What is the Infield Parking Facebook App?
The Infield Parking Facebook App makes a slide show from all of the media you have uploaded into your Infield Parking media gallery and places plays it on Facebook. You have the option to select a different users media stream as well. So, you can choose your favorite driver's media stream if you want.
