Infield Parking is an online social networking community that connects people through networks of friends for communicating, sharing & making new friends, sharing photos & videos, posting journals & comments, and describing their interests. Infield Parking allows our users to set up unique personal profiles that can be linked together to make it easy to share information.

To facilitate the Infield Parking Members' experience, we request and display some personal information to other members and visitors, which allows the users to identify each other and expand their network. Infield Parking Members can change their profile information at any time and can control how other members and the service communicates with them.

Information Collection and Use by Infield Parking

Infield Parking collects user submitted information that the Member uses to create his/her own profile. This personal information includes such things as:

  • First name or first & last names of the Member (depending on the options selected by the Member)
  • Location (e.g., city and state)
  • Gender, martial status and other, similar personal information
  • Age to authenticate users
  • Photos, videos or other shared content uploaded by the Member to his/her profile
  • Personal information that the Member voluntarily chooses to include
  • E-mail addresses to send sign-up verifications and general notifications to those users relating to the Infield Parking service

Infield Parking also logs non-personally-identifiable information including IP address, profile information, aggregate user-data, and browser type, from users and visitors to the site. This data is used to manage the website, track usage and improve the website services. This non-personally, identifiable information may be shared with third-parties to provide more relevant services and advertisements to Members. User IP addresses are recorded for security and monitoring purposes.

From time to time, Infield Parking or a partner may sponsor a promotion, sweepstake or contest on Infield Parking. Users may be asked to provide personal information including name, e-mail address, mailing address, or to answer questions in order to participate.

For Members outside of the United States, the user is consenting to have his/her personal data transferred to and processed in the United States.

If a user posts personally identifiable information in areas of the site accessible to other users, he/she should be aware that such information can be read, collected, or used by other users of these forums, and could be used improperly to send users unsolicited messages. We are not responsible for the personally identifiable information a user chooses to submit in these forums or for others misuse of such information. Any misuse or improper collection of information provided on Infield Parking is a violation of the Infield Parking Terms of Service and should be reported to privacy [at] infieldparking [dot] com.

Children Under Age 16
The minimum age to participate in Infield Parking is sixteen (16). Infield Parking does not knowingly collect or solicit personal information from anyone under the age of 16 or knowingly allow such persons to register. No one under age 16 is allowed to provide any personal information to or on Infield Parking. If you believe that we might have any information from or about a child under 16, please contact us at privacy [at] infieldparking [dot] com.

Minor Between the Ages of 16 and 18
We recommend that minors between 16 and 18 ask their parents for permission before sending any information about themselves to anyone over the Internet. In the event that we learn that we have collected personal information from a child/minor under age 18 without parental consent, we will delete that information as quickly as possible.

Individuals Under 21
Infield Parking does permit producers/distributors of alcohol based products to advertise on the site. Using advertising filters based on age, individuals under the Age of 21 will not receive these advertisements. Infield Parking is not responsible for individuals under the age of 21, who have improperly indicated his/her age. In the event we learn that an individual misrepresented his/her age, we will promptly cancel that Members profile. Sharing of the Information this Site Collects/Gathers/Tracks

User Profile information including Members' pictures and first names are displayed to people in order to facilitate user interaction in the Infield Parking social networking community. E-mail addresses are used for the purposes of inviting new friends to join Infield Parking, to add users to Members' friends networks, and to send notifications related to the service. With the exception of inviting friends, adding friends, and notifications, a user's e-mail address is not shared or displayed to people within a user's personal network. Users within a personal network communicate on Infield Parking with each other through the Infield Parking service, without disclosing their e-mail addresses. Users' full names are never directly revealed to other members. To facilitate searching and finding friends and acquaintances on the service, Infield Parking allows users to search for other members using first and last name, e-mail address, and schools and/or companies where users may have attended or worked.

Chat Rooms, Journals and Weblogs, Message Boards, Classifieds and Public Forums
Please be aware that whenever a user voluntarily posts public information to Journals, Blogs, Message Boards, Classifieds or any other Public Forums that the information can be accessed by the public and can in turn be used by those people to send unsolicited communications.

Except as otherwise described in this privacy statement, or where a user is expressly informed otherwise, we do not sell, rent, share, trade or give away any of a users personal information, unless: (1) to conform to legal requirements or to respond to a subpoena, search warrant or other legal process received by Infield Parking, whether or not a response is required by applicable law; (2) to enforce the Infield Parking Terms of Use Agreement or to protect our rights; or (3) to protect the safety of members of the public and users of the service.

However, Infield Parking may share profile information and aggregate usage information in a non-personally identifiable manner with advertisers and other third parties in order to present to Members and other users of the Infield Parking website more targeted advertising, products and services. In such situations we will never disclose information that would personally identify a Member.

Infield Parking reserves the right to transfer personal information to a successor in interest that acquires rights to that information as a result of the sale of Infield Parking or substantially all of its assets to that successor in interest. Invitations and Other Communications to Non-Members

If a Member elects to use our "Invite" feature to invite a friend to become a Member of the Infield Parking community, we ask them for the friend's e-mail address. Infield Parking will automatically send the friend an e-mail inviting them to join the site via our automated invitation system. Infield Parking stores the e-mail addresses that Members provide so that the respondents may be added to the friend's list of the member sending the invitations, and also to send reminders of the invitations. Infield Parking will never sell these e-mail addresses or use them to send any other communication besides invitations and invitation reminders. Recipients of invitations from Infield Parking may contact Infield Parking to request the removal of their information from our database.

Use of Cookies

Infield Parking uses cookies to store visitors' preferences and to record session information. A cookie is a piece of data stored on the user's computer tied to information about the user. We use both "session ID cookies" and "persistent cookies." We use session ID cookies to to confirm that users are logged in and make it easier to navigate our site. These cookies terminate once the user closes the browser. A persistent cookie remains on the hard drive for an extended period of time. Note also that Members may optionally use a cookie to remember their e-mail in order to automatically log in to our website. Each browser is different, but a user can remove persistent cookies by following directions provided in the Internet browsers "help" file; however, please note that, if a user rejects cookies or disable cookies in his/her web browser, some features of Infield Parking may not work.

We do not and will not use cookies to collect private information from any Member or other user of the Infield Parking website which they did not intentionally submit to us, other than as stated in this Privacy Policy. Please note that Infield Parking may allow 3rd party advertisers that are presenting advertisements on some of our pages to set and access their cookies on a users computer. Advertisers' use of cookies is subject to their own privacy policies, not the Infield Parking Privacy Policy.

Links

Infield Parking contains links to other websites. This includes links that are placed there by Infield Parking (such as in advertisements), as well as by other Infield Parking Members. Please be aware that Infield Parking is not responsible for the privacy policies and/or practices on other sites. We encourage all Members and other users of the Infield Parking website to be aware of when they leave our website, and to read the privacy policies of each and every website that collects personally identifiable information. Our privacy policy only governs information collected on Infield Parking.

Correcting/Updating or Removing Information

Infield Parking users may modify or remove any of their personal information at any time by logging into their account. Access and control over most personal information on Infield Parking is readily available through the profile editing tools. Information will be updated immediately. Individuals who wish to deactivate their Infield Parking account may do so using the mechanisms provided. Removed information may persist in backup copies for a reasonable period of time but will not be generally available to Members of Infield Parking.

Where a user makes use of the communication features of the service to share information with other individuals on Infield Parking, (e.g., posting on someone else's profile, blog or message board) Infield Parking cannot generally remove such postings/communications.

E-mail Choice/Opt-out

Members who no longer wish to receive updates or notifications may choose not to by indicating as such in his/her user profile Account Settings. All notification e-mails and Infield Parking newsletters also include the above instructions for opting-out of those communications in the future.

Third Party Advertising

Ads appearing on this Web site may be delivered to users by Infield Parking or one of our Web advertising partners. Our Web advertising partners may set cookies. These cookies allow the ad server to recognize a users computer each time they send an online advertisement. This information allows an ad network to deliver targeted advertisements that they believe will be of most interest to the users and/or in order to measure the effectiveness of their ads and to personalize advertising content. In this way, they may compile information about where individuals using a computer or browser saw their advertisements and determine which advertisements are clicked. Infield Parking does not have access to or control of the cookies that may be placed by the third party advertisers. Third party advertisers have no access to a users contact information stored on Infield Parking unless the user chooses to share it with them. This privacy statement covers the use of cookies or other tracking technologies by Infield Parking and does not cover the use of cookies by any advertisers.

Security

Member accounts are secured by member-created passwords. Infield Parking takes every precaution to protect the information of the Members, as well as information collected from other users of the Infield Parking website to insure that member account information is kept private. A users account information is located on a secured server behind a firewall. We use reasonable measures to protect member information that is stored within our database, and we restrict access to member information to those employees who need access to perform their job functions, such as our customer service personnel and technical staff. Please note that we cannot guarantee the security of member account information. Unauthorized entry or use, hardware or software failure, and other factors may compromise the security of member information at any time. Changes in Our Privacy Policy

From time to time we may make changes to our privacy policy, and we reserve the right to change our Privacy Policy and our Terms of Use at any time. Non-material changes and clarifications will take effect immediately, and material changes will take effect within 30 days of their posting on this site. If we make changes, we will post them on our site to make users aware of what the changes are so users will always be aware of what information we collect, how we use it, and when we may disclose it. A User is bound by any minor changes to the policy when she or he uses the site after those changes have been posted. Unless stated otherwise, our current privacy policy applies to all information that we have about a users account.
